Are you a Senior Financial Controller with international experience?Would you like to join a major Italian group with a global presence in the apparel industry?We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join the Finance Department in our Athens (Greece) office, taking on a strategic role in shaping the company’s global financial policies. This position is critical to financial planning, analysis and reporting, and requires accuracy, strong analytical skills and close collaboration with HQ and cross-functional teams.
What you will doPrepare the monthly, quarterly, and year-end IFRS financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy of data inputted according to HQ. Manage the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, aligning financial goals with company objectives. Analyse actual vs. budget performance (including Opex and COGS), prepare cash-flow forecasts and feasibility studies. Monitor and report KPIs per store on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records and reports: balance sheets, cash flows, mandatory reporting for statistical purposes. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial, and Accounting teams for monthly data analysis.
Support Sales & Commercial depts with reporting and analysis (sell-in analysis by season, brand, and cost center, commercial and discount analysis). Support planning and analysis for commercial activities and discount periods. Coordinate audit requests and act as the internal point of contact for consolidated financial statements. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. Work with the Accounting team to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and in line with accounting standards. Prepare ad-hoc analyses, dashboards and management presentations. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5–7+ years in Financial Controlling or a similar role. Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e. g. , SAP, BPC), and financial reporting tools. Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Exceptionally well organised with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
