Senior Financial Modeller

Overview:The Senior Financial Modeller Expert will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models to support bidding processes, strategic decision-making, and profitability assessments for large-scale projects in the facilities management sector. The role requires a highly analytical individual who can translate financial data into actionable insights, helping senior stakeholders understand risk, profitability, and the overall financial implications of strategic initiatives.Responsibilities:• Develop, implement, and maintain advanced financial models to support bid proposals and business development opportunities.• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation insights to aid decision-making.• Support bid teams by ensuring the accuracy and robustness of financial inputs and assumptions.• Collaborate with internal departments to gather accurate operational and commercial data.• Prepare presentations and reports summarizing financial model outputs for senior management review.• Conduct detailed competitor and market analysis to support pricing and risk assessment.• Assist in formulating divisional commercial policies and financial best practices.• Support bid lifecycle governance by preparing appropriate documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.• Develop strategies for CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow, and project financial performance matrices.• Contribute to bid financial strategies and scenario analysis to maximize profitability and mitigate risks.• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and executive leadership.• Provide insights to improve forecasting accuracy and cost estimation processes.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.• Professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.• Certification in Financial Modelling and proficiency in Power BI or advanced analytics tools is advantageous.• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial modelling, preferably within bid or project-based environments.• Experience in the Facilities Management or large-scale services industry preferred.• Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge.• Proven ability to handle complex datasets and develop scenario-based analyses.• Strong communication skills to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving orientation.• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
