We are developing next-generation web applications and supporting infrastructure that help customers in 60+ countries explore, interact with, and purchase Tesla vehicles and energy products.Tesla is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable web and mobile experiences that enhance the ownership journey for Tesla customers. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams to craft innovative, user-friendly applications that set new standards for digital experiences.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications with a strong focus on frontend performance and user experience.Build reusable components and scalable architectures using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.Optimize code for performance, accessibility, and maintainability across different platforms.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to create seamless digital experiences.Stay up to date with the latest frontend and mobile development trends to ensure Tesla’s digital products remain cutting-edge.What You'll Bring4+ years of experience in frontend development, building scalable web and/or mobile applications.Strong expertise in React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux).Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (e.g., Next.js, Remix, Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or Webpack).Familiarity with Node.js and Express for backend API integration.Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices.Experience working with RESTful APIs.Knowledge of PHP, Elastic Search, Objective-C, Swift, or Java/Kotlin is a plus.Experience creating, maintaining and shipping top-ranking mobile apps is preferred.Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.Strong Problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable solutions.Proficiency in English (written and spoken), Tesla
