If you love creating clean, impactful code, let’s talk!What You Will DoDid you start coding just for fun?Are you a problem-solving developer who’s passionate about technology and building things that matter?Role Overview:As a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Dublin, you’ll dive into front-end and back-end development, working closely with our team of designers and product managers to build user-focused applications. While we value relevant degrees, what we really care about is your coding skills, your passion for technology, and your ability to problem-solve. Our stack is built on Ruby, with exciting projects that also involve JavaScript, Node.js, and React Native. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating test cases to build a robust library.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain end-to-end applications with Ruby for the back end and JavaScript for the front end;Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that are visually polished and function seamlessly;Collaborate with designers and product managers to transform project ideas into high-quality features;Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from planning and coding to testing and deployment;Troubleshoot and optimize to ensure applications are efficient, scalable, and reliable;Stay curious and up-to-date with the latest tech trends, bringing new ideas and improvements to the team;Create comprehensive test cases to build and maintain a robust library.You have:Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, including experience with JavaScript on the client and server side;A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;Proven proficiency in Ruby and experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL;Curiosity about coding from an early age — self-taught coding projects, personal experiments, or side hustles all count as valuable experience;Problem-solving mindset and a strong desire to learn and improve;Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team;Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing quality code;Independence and self-motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with React Native for mobile app projects;A basic sense of UI/UX design with a keen eye for details and usability;Experience in writing test cases and building libraries.
