You’ll work across the stack (Node.js, Typescript, React) to build the core systems that enable real-time voice ordering, customer interactions, and seamless integrations with venue systems.This role is hands-on and impact-driven — focused on shipping features faster, improving platform reliability, and enabling new client integrations so Voicey can go live quickly and deliver an exceptional customer experience.What You'll DoBuild and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Typescript, and develop efficient frontend applications using ReactFocus on platform engineering (not AI model development), designing and maintaining APIs, integrations, and clean architectural patternsWork closely with AI engineers to productionize voice features and support real-time interactionsManage cloud deployments and infrastructure on AWS or GCP, ensuring platform speed, reliability, and scalabilityOptimise databases across PostgreSQL, Supabase, or MongoDBAccelerate feature delivery, platform reliability, and integration readiness to support quick customer go-livesParticipate in system design, code reviews, and technical decision-makingUphold strong engineering best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainabilityApply full-stack expertise across Node.js, Typescript, React, APIs, and cloud infrastructureQualifications6+ years of full stack engineering experience (Node.js + React required)Strong understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, and microservicesHands-on experience with AWS/GCP, cloud deployments, and CI/CD workflowsStrong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databasesExperience in product-led or SaaS engineering environments and ability to turn AI prototype features into production-ready componentsStrong documentation, collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionallyGood to HaveExposure to voice technologies, NLP, or telephony APIs Experience with real-time user interaction systemsBackground in AI-enabled or automation-heavy products
