Senior Fullstack Developer (Node.js + Vue.js)

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our elite engineering team at Cherrypick Consulting. This role focuses on an ongoing client project where backend development in Node.js is critical, with complementary work on a Vue.js-based frontend. You'll play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade systems with an emphasis on backend performance, scalability, and code quality.This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys full ownership of the development process, and is passionate about building robust systems that power real-world products.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement backend services using Node.js, including RESTful APIs and data integrationsContribute to frontend development using Vue.js (composition API), ensuring seamless user interactionsOptimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systemsCollaborate with the product and client teams to translate requirements into technical deliverablesWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practicesParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planningSupport deployment and DevOps tasks in coordination with our infrastructure team (primarily on AWS)Requirements5+ years of professional development experience, with a strong focus on backend developmentProven experience building APIs and services using Node.js (Express/NestJS)Solid experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Proficient in Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API) for building modular frontend interfacesFamiliarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, ECS, IAM, Secrets Manager) and DevOps workflowsStrong understanding of application architecture and software engineering principlesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable owning features end-to-end and working independently in a high-trust environmentNice to HaveExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform)Familiarity with other frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plusPrior experience working in a fast-paced consulting or agency environment
