Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Senior Global Brand Manager - Trail at Arc’teryx, you own the global positioning and direction of the brand across our Trail activity category. As the business’ industry expert, you are a leader within the brand marketing team, ensuring the perspectives of the endemic trail community are represented and integrated across the brand. You apply your in-depth knowledge of the sport to influence the global brand strategy and key storytelling calendar, ensuring regional integration and brand consistency.  Your strategic product positioning and clear GTM strategies and briefs create global brand energy through key products, innovations and stories.Above all, you are deeply connected to the trail community, understanding every nuance of the sport – events, athlete mindsets, brand and product.This role can be hired remote and will require regular travel into the North Vancouver headquarters. Business operations occur in the Pacific time zone. Meet Your Future Team:The Brand Marketing team is the direct connection between the guest and the Arc’teryx brand through content and experience. We work in lockstep with our Regional Brand Marketing, Creative, Communications, Sports Marketing, Community, and Operational Teams, as well as our Partners and Agencies to create experiences and tell stories that are relevant, thought-provoking and true to who we are.If you were in the Senior Global Brand Manager – Trail role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Driving and maintaining the long-term strategy and positioning across the trail category.Influencing the direction of the brand within trail across the organization, working in lockstep with design and product merchandizing to drive growth within the categoryStrategic thinking and relationship building, working with partners across the business to bring the brand vision to life within your categorySupporting the development of the global GTM strategy, seasonal brand objectives and key product briefsLeading integration of the strategy across global and regional marketing channels and partners, including but not limited to brand narrative, sports marketing, partnerships, public relations, events and communityFostering close collaboration with the product design team and regularly attending design meetings and insights sessionsLeveraging consumer insights, market trends and competitive analysis to inform and drive strategic decisionsCultivating and maintaining relationships with key industry leaders and external partners to maximize influence and collaborationRepresenting the brand at industry events and distilling information and trends to share back across the businessHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Leading global strategy for a year-round trail calendarPartnering on a 5-year events and partnerships roadmap to support strategic goalsRising as a leader across the organization, using your endemic voice to ensure long term authenticity in the businessAre you our next Senior Global Brand Manager – Trail?You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related fieldYou have 8+ years of relevant experience within a global organization and a deep understanding of brand and product marketing in the outdoor industryYou are authentically connected to and acutely aware of the outdoor industry, technical outdoor product, and are connected to the culture of outdoor sport, specifically within the trail communityYou have a proven track record of building successful strategic marketing plans within brand and/or product marketingYou are a relationship builder and people connector – you have proven experience working and connecting with people from the outdoor industry across the globeYou have an entrepreneurial mindset – you enjoy thinking outside the box and search for solutions or improvement to any situationYou have strong awareness of the Arc’teryx brand, product and consumerYou remain highly flexible and creative when faced with ambiguityYour passion for work is paralleled by your passion for getting outsideEqual OpportunityArc’teryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected. Always. Commit. We set bold objectives and see them through. A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$125,000 - CAD$156,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
