Here Is What The Job EntailsAs a Senior Hardware Developer, you will be a key contributor to the design and maintenance of our Electricity Meter Platform – covering the full development cycle from concept to implementation. Together with your colleagues you will work closely with specialists across Kamstrup, including firmware developers, communication experts, sourcing and our inhouse production to ensure seamless and smooth integration, high product quality and reliable performance.More specifically, you will be:Developing high-reliability electronics for large-scale productionDesigning equipment for 230/400V mains in accordance with LVD standards Working with switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and A/D conversion techniques Ensuring EMC-compliant hardware designTesting and verifying hardware components in our inhouse testing facilities Your work will directly support millions of smart meters worldwide – contributing to energy efficiency and the green transition.Meet your future teamYou will join the Electricity Meter Hardware team – a small, dedicated group of six engineers who are responsible for the hardware platforms in Kamstrup’s electricity meters. The team collaborates closely with other development departments and our in-house production, creating a dynamic and knowledge-sharing environment where innovation and quality go hand in hand.Did you know? In our team we make two short daily office exercise session to be energized for the rest of the day.Less About Us, More About YouWe are looking for an experienced electronics engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware development. You are a team player who works systematically and has a strong focus on quality and detail.In order to succeed in this role, we imagine that you:Hold a degree in electronics engineeringBring experience with E-CAD and simulation tools – preferably Cadence OrCADAre familiar with measurement techniques and power supply designWork in a structured way and pay close attention to detailsAs we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.Whilst you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, you could still be a good candidate for the position.
