Senior Health and Safety OfficerA leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Officer to oversee HSE management on a Pharma project in Limerick which is just starting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management in a collaborative, professional environment, promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) initiatives across multiple projects.Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and compliance checks.Manage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements.Maintain and improve company HSE management systems and ISO accreditations.Promote strong safety culture and near-miss reporting across all teams.RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Health & Safety (or equivalent).Pharma project experienceMinimum 4 years’ HSE experience in construction or civil engineering.Experience managing ISO standards and environmental systems.Strong communication and organisational skills.Benefits€70,000 – €75,000 salary (DOE)Company vehicleComprehensive benefits packageExcellent career development opportunities within a Tier 1 contractorIf you are a Senior Health & Safety Officer considering a career move, please feel to send your CV or contact Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
