This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is excited to take ownership across the full employee lifecycle.Roles & ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end employee journey — from pipelining, sourcing, and screening candidates, to onboarding new hires, setting them up with the right tools, ways of working, and culture.Be the first point of contact for our people — supporting employees and consultants with HR- related queries, onboarding, offboarding, and records management.Support OKRs and performance management — coordinating goal-setting cycles, tracking progress, and ensuring conversations between managers and employees run smoothly.Own engagement initiatives — from planning townhalls and team activities to running peer-recognition and culture-building programs.Mentor & partner management — administer the onboarding, offboarding, and renewal of mentor agreements; maintain mentor records; and provide assistance for mentor- and partner-related queries.Support payroll, records & compliance — ensure accuracy in payroll preparation, maintain HR data and reporting, and align with local labor regulations and company policies.Bring insights to decision-making — compile HR and operational reports to provide visibility and support compliance, planning, and process improvement.Be a builder — help to streamline HR processes, improve systems, and bring fresh ideas to create a great employee experience.Business Operations (secondary scope) — provide ad-hoc support in business operations during peak periods, including basic finance admin (invoice processing), operational reporting, startup onboarding/record keeping, and partnership administration — ensuring smooth day-to-day execution while keeping HR as the primary focus.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in HR with hands-on exposure across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and records management).Familiarity with performance management frameworks such as OKRs and involvement in employee engagement initiatives.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.Ability to handle tasks independently while knowing when to seek guidance.High sense of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.Proactive and adaptable mindset with an eagerness to contribute to continuous process improvements.Comfort working across different cultures and regional markets (Japan, South Korea, India, Philippines experience a plus).We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
