Our ClientOur client is a new entity establishing its presence in Singapore and is poised for significant business growth and regional expansion across Asia. To support this trajectory, it is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager, who will be instrumental in setting up and leading the human resources function across key markets. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an energetic and seasoned HR leader to shape the human capital foundation across Asia during a pivotal phase of the company's evolution. This newly created role calls for a dynamic HR professional adept at building HR operations from the ground up. This role involves close engagement with stakeholders in North Asia, including China, to ensure alignment and collaboration across the region. Responsibilities Reporting to the business leader, you will be responsible for setting up and strengthening the HR framework in Singapore for a start. Ensuring alignment with the company's business priorities and long-term growth objectives. This includes designing and implementing core HR processes, policies, and programs that support talent attraction, retention, and development. Beyond the foundational setup, the Senior HR Partner will act as a trusted advisor and partner with operations and supply chain leaders to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business needs, particularly within China and other key markets in Southeast Asia. In addition, you will promote a cohesive, high-performing culture across the region. Requirements The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, with at least 12 years of progressive HR experience, including regional exposure. Prior experience in setting up or transforming HR functions, particularly in fast-growing or newly established regional structures will be highly regarded.A strong background in supporting supply chain or operations teams is essential, alongside a deep understanding of HR practices and employment legislation across key Asia Pacific markets, especially in China. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change in a dynamic environment. A hands-on, pragmatic, and strategic approach, combined with strong cultural sensitivity and a collaborative mindset, will be critical to success in this role.
