Be part of a team that values collaboration, integrity, and service.This is a Human Resources (HR) business partner role which extends across the full range of human resource management functions and requires you to work collaboratively in a team of HR generalist practitioners, and in partnership with our clients and key stakeholders across the division and TMR to deliver business outcomes.Policy, Planning and Investment (PPI) Division is responsible for defining and shaping key strategies, policies and investment planning for an integrated transport system to support the safe and efficient movement of people and goods, while delivering value for the community. The division comprises five branches with approximately 1400 employees. The division's operating principles focus on being people centric, building collaborative relationships and continuous learning.In the role of Senior HR Advisor you will provide tactical and operational human resources advice and support services in relation to employee entitlements and workplace rights, human resources policies and procedures, organisational change, discipline, performance management, employee grievances, independent medical examinations and employee illness and injury management.We're Seeking a Team Member Who CanDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain support and influence HR outcomes.Provide quality, considered and tailored advice to management and employees on HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation.Research and apply best HR management practices and principles to address organisational issues.Fulfil the responsibilities of the Case Manager role with regard to individual employee grievances, and employee illness and injury management.Coach and support managers in relation to their obligations as public service managers.Provide expert advice and support for recruitment and selection processes, and where required, participate as a panel member and/or a scribe.Represent PPI division on departmental communities of practice, HR working groups and projects, to improve HR processes and outcomes for PPI Division.Prepare high quality and timely HR correspondence including reports, briefings, and business cases.Mentor and develop others in the team to enable knowledge transfer and career development.For more information and instructions on how to apply, please refer to the role description.Applications to remain current for 12 monthsOccupational group HR & Industrial Relations
