EXL is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to contribute at both strategic and operational levels, creating an exceptional employee and leadership experience. This role will focus on executing the people strategy and key HR initiatives to ensure an inclusive, high-performing environment aligned with our business objectives in South Africa. The successful candidate will lead the HRBP team and oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent development, performance management, leadership growth, and employee engagement.If you are passionate about people, thrive on collaboration, and want to shape the future of HR in a growing global organization, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact.Key Responsibilities:Partner with business leaders to deliver our people strategy and implement innovative HR initiatives.Collaborate with the HR Country Lead to design and drive key employee engagement and experience programs.Lead and develop the HRBP team to ensure high-quality delivery of HR services and alignment with business objectives.Coach and advise line managers on talent management frameworks and tools.Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and diverse culture.Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing professional, timely, and strategic HR guidance.Work closely with Payroll, HR Shared Services, and Legal to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards.Ensure effective communication on all HR matters across teams and levels.Represent EXL with integrity and professionalism both internally and externally.Required Skills and Experience:Proven leadership and influencing abilities.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Agile and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.Passion for continuous learning and people development.Deep understanding of South African employment legislation and labor law compliance.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related certificationExperience:Minimum of 10 years’ HR experience, preferably within the BPO industryAt least 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent senior HR leadership roleEmployment Equity Statement:In alignment with the Employment Equity Act, preference will be given to applicants from historically underrepresented groups, in line with EXL’s Employment Equity targets.
