Join us.As the Senior HR Business Partner for the Netherlands, you will play a pivotal role in shaping OpenText’s people strategy in the region. A key focus of this role is leading the works council agenda, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment between business priorities and employee representation. You will be responsible for all HR matters in the Netherlands, acting as a strategic advisor and operational leader in a dynamic, international environment.This is a unique opportunity to influence organizational effectiveness, drive transformation, and foster a culture of transparency and trust through proactive engagement with key stakeholders including the works council.What The Role OffersA central role in driving the works council strategy, fostering constructive dialogue and partnership.The opportunity to shape the people agenda for the Netherlands in alignment with OpenText’s global culture and values.A collaborative, innovative, and international work environment.The ability to lead organizational design and change initiatives that support business agility and growth.What You Will DoServe as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders.Lead and manage the works council relationship, including agenda setting, negotiations, and strategic alignment.Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and global HR policies, with a strong focus on employee and labor relations.Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and regional HR teams to implement scalable and consistent HR processes.Translate business strategy into actionable people plans that support performance, growth, and transformation.Drive strategic programs such as AI First, supporting business innovation and workforce readiness.Facilitate leadership pipeline and succession planning discussions to strengthen talent development.Champion employee engagement, performance management, and inclusion initiatives.Oversee HR operations including workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and labor relations.What You Need To SucceedBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in multinational environments.Extensive experience managing works council relationships and navigating Dutch labor law.Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a fast-paced, evolving organization.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.Fluency in Dutch and English is required.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
