Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)AP Health is a private practice comprised of advanced practice providers. We provide perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers. The Senior HR Generalist will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure multi-state compliance, administer benefits and leaves, maintain HRIS accuracy, and partner with leadership to align people processes in a fast-growing healthcare services company.What You Will Do Oversee the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding through offboarding—ensuring a consistent, compliant, and high-quality experience across all markets Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data, files, and reporting within the HRIS; identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager HR inquiries, providing guidance on policy, employee relations, and escalation pathways Administer and monitor all leave programs (FMLA, medical, parental, military, personal) and workers’ compensation cases with full regulatory compliance Partner closely with the VP of People Operations on process design, compliance initiatives, and cross-functional HR projects that impact organizational operations Lead benefits administration activities, including open enrollment, vendor coordination, and EDI audit oversight Stay current on multi-state employment laws and proactively apply that knowledge to decisions, documentation, and internal policies Collaborate with credentialing, recruiting, and operations leaders to align people processes and ensure seamless transitions between departmentsWhat Do You Need Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required); PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification (preferred) 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with proven expertise in full-cycle employee lifecycle management, HRIS administration (e.g., UKG, Workday, or ADP), and benefits/leave compliance Strong employee relations acumen with experience serving as the primary HR point of contact; demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with credentialing, recruiting, and operations teams Must reside in or relocate to the Nashville, TN area; able to work a hybrid scheduleBenefits Comprehensive and flexible medical, dental, and vision insurance Short and long-term disability, basic and supplemental life 401K retirement plan with company matching Participation in the company’s Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) Generous PTO and "life/work" balance Excellence at Work: AP Health is a certified Great Place to Work™- a national designation based on employee feedback about trust, workplace culture, and experience.
