Senior Identity & Access Management Specialist

The Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing identity governance, access control policies, privileged access, and account lifecycle management. The role ensures secure and compliant access to systems and data, supports cybersecurity initiatives, and contributes to defining and improving identity and access management processes across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce identity and access control policies, ensuring secure access to systems with high confidentiality levels.Develop processes for managing privileged accounts and system accounts.Manage user identity data, maintain accuracy, and ensure accounts are up to date.Participate in the review and analysis of internal audit reports for identity and access governance.Provide technical guidance and recommendations to relevant committees on identity and access topics.Configure and manage privileged access rights for users according to system requirements.Support the provision, modification, and removal of user access permissions based on business needs.Contribute to developing technical reports required by cybersecurity management.Apply cybersecurity verification and validation procedures related to access control.Implement security policies and procedures related to access management and user account control.Oversee and manage identity and access management systems and permissions.Support procedures for managing permissions for systems, data, and remote access (VPN).Participate in defining operational procedures and workflows for specialized IAM systems.Participate in periodic reviews and audits of permissions and accounts.Conduct tasks as assigned by management and prepare required technical reports.Participate in incident response related to access and identity issues.Collaborate with teams to identify IAM-related risks and address system vulnerabilities.Ensure alignment of IAM tasks with cybersecurity policies and requirements.Participate in committees and workshops related to security governance and access control.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in designing and developing solutions for identity and access management.Ability to implement enforcement mechanisms for cybersecurity policies related to identity and access.Experience participating in cybersecurity risk assessment and vulnerability analysis related to IAM.Strong skills in access governance and policy management.Ability to analyze system permissions, identify gaps, and recommend remediation steps.Experience in reviewing and auditing privileges, user permissions, and account lifecycle processes.Strong technical reporting and documentation skills in Arabic and English.Minimum 6 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.Preferably certified in: Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) Certified Identity & Access Manager (CIAM) Or equivalent specialized IAM certifications.
