Senior Information Security Engineer Lugano, Switzerland (onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote option)CHF 100,000 + benefits A global organisation with headquarters in Switzerland is investing heavily in cybersecurity and is seeking a hands-on Senior Information Security Engineer to lead major security projects and become the go-to expert for its European hub. This is a brand-new position, offering the chance to shape the security landscape and take ownership of critical projects. Reporting directly to the CIO, you'll work in a hybrid infrastructure environment (on-prem and cloud), deliver technical implementations, and set the standard for future security practices. You will:Lead projects in Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint/XDR, and SIEM implementation.Build and maintain security scorecards & monthly reporting for senior management.Act as the escalation point for security incidents.Develop and enforce information security policies.Automate security and reporting processes using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.About You5+ years' experience in information security and infrastructure.Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365).Experience with Checkpoint (essential) and other network/security platforms (Cisco, Fortinet welcome).Knowledge of SIEM and EDR/XDR solutions.Background with VMware vSphere, Veeam, and hybrid infrastructure.Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Fluent in English; Italian or Russian is a plus.Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, SC-200, Fortinet NSE, etc.) are advantageous.What's on OfferSalary up to CHF 100,000 Employment package including health insurance and additional benefits.Direct reporting line to the CIO with strong visibility across the business.Opportunity to grow and expand the Cyber Security function.
