Job Description
Duties and responsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP). Administer and evolve our Azure infrastructure – virtual machines, identity, networking, and storage.Manage and secure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Defender.Administer core networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi), firewall rules, and remote access.Manage clustered and virtualized infrastructure (Hyper-V).Administer backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure business continuity.Support and maintain telephony systems (VoIP/PBX).Maintain internal documents with inventory and IT procedures.Undertake and proactively assist the team’s daily operations in supporting business requests.Participate in procurement and vendor proposal evaluation processes.Assist in internal IT training.Troubleshoot issues and provide support to employees.Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security posture.RequirementsDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant.5+ years in a system administration role.Deep experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.Proficient with enterprise networking and firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet).Good knowledge of backup technologies (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup.) and DR planning.Experience managing virtualized and clustered environments.Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, M365 Enterprise Admin) are a plus.Fulfilled military obligations if applied.
