Senior IT Support EngineerLocation: Munich, Germany (On-site, 5 days/week) Role OverviewOur clients are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer to join their Munich team. This hands-on role requires deep expertise across Microsoft technologies, networking infrastructure, and automation. You will be instrumental in supporting end-user devices, managing servers, and leading a full IT infrastructure migration as they establish their new Munich office.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced technical support across Microsoft technologiesOffice 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, AzureManage and maintain network infrastructure:Routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN setupsOversee onboarding and offboarding of users and devices to ensure smooth transitions and complianceSet up, configure, and deploy physical and virtual serversLead the end-to-end migration and infrastructure setup for the new Munich officeImplement and maintain automation solutions, including AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and scalabilityMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and securityCollaborate with global IT teams to align standards and share best practicesDocument processes, configurations, and procedures for the internal knowledge baseRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a senior IT support or infrastructure engineering roleMicrosoft Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, AzureSolid understanding of networking principles and hands-on experience with:Routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti)Experience with server deployment, setup, and migration projectsFamiliarity with automation tools and AI-based deployment strategiesExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesFluent in English; German language skills are a plusDesirable QualificationsMicrosoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate)Networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and automation platformsFamiliarity with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM)
