Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure systems to ensure high performance and reliability. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving the company’s technical infrastructure environment, working closely with multiple teams to ensure service stability and continuity.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure systems (networks, servers, storage, and cloud computing).Manage and optimize server and network performance to ensure the highest levels of performance and security.Monitor and maintain the production environment and handle technical issues promptly and efficiently.Implement disaster recovery and backup plans.Collaborate with development teams to provide the appropriate infrastructure to support their applications.Participate in evaluating and selecting new infrastructure technologies and tools.Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to improve operations.Additional ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems Responsibilities:Design & Planning:Develop detailed designs, schematics, and technical drawings for ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, IPTV, and Structured Cabling.Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and IT teams to ensure proper integration of ELV systems within the overall project design.Prepare single-line diagrams, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.Implementation & Supervision:Supervise on-site installation and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications and timelines.Review and approve ELV materials, equipment, and vendor submittals.Conduct system testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.Compliance & Standards:Ensure all systems meet local authority requirements (e.g., Civil Defense, NCA, and Saudi Building Code).Adhere to international standards and best practices (BICSI, NFPA, IEEE, ISO/IEC).Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of all ELV works.Requirements and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.Experience in network management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).Experience with storage systems and database management.Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or others.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.Experience or familiarity with ELV systems design and implementation is highly desirable.Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers.Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Proficient in automation tools and scripting (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash).Skilled in monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.Good understanding of security best practices.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage ELV system integration, supervision, and compliance.
