With its innovative solutions, companies can reduce operational costs, accelerate time to value, and maximize their return on investment, ensuring that their AI strategies contribute directly to enhanced business outcomes.Role Overview:The Project Manager – Infrastructure leads the team responsible for core infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes platforms. The role covers defining and evolving system architectures, driving automation, and managing vendor technologies, while working closely with Development, Product, Security, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. This position requires a leader with both technical depth and strong people/process management skills to make sure systems engineering enables product development, customer projects, and operational excellence.Roles and Responsibilities: Build, lead, and develop the Systems Engineering team covering compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes/container platforms, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.Define and maintain infrastructure and platform architecture standards and establish enterprise architecture processes to guide design and technology decisions.Drive infrastructure automation and provisioning to improve delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.Oversee technology evaluation, vendor selection, and lifecycle management for hardware and platform components.Provide technical input to pre-sales on architecture, sizing, and system design.Ensure the team delivers L3 support for complex infrastructure and platform issues.Design systems to meet performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency targets.Establish processes and metrics to track team output against SLAs, KPIs, and delivery commitments.Act as a coach and mentor, supporting career growth, skills development, and succession planning within the team.Drive resource planning and workload management to ensure delivery capacity aligns with organizational priorities.Qualification, Experience, Competence and Certifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, or platform engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of leading engineering teams covering computer storage, networking, and Kubernetes/container platforms.Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (servers, storage arrays, virtualization, networking, container orchestration).Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or similar).Familiarity with private cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift, VMware, or equivalent).Demonstrated experience in establishing enterprise architecture processes and setting technology standards.Background in vendor management, hardware evaluation, and technology lifecycle planning.Proven ability to deliver mission-critical systems with high availability, scalability, and performance requirements.Strong people management skills, including mentoring, team development, and resource planning.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, vendors, and customers.Professional certifications (VMware, Cisco, Red Hat, Kubernetes, TOGAF, or ITIL) are desirable.Reporting To: VP - Technology
