This is a new role that will be hybrid based in our Mexico City office location. We are seeking a creative leader to own the end-to-end development of new brands and products within the LACM region with a focus on Mexico. This role leads cross‑functional teams and external partners to surface consumer and category insights, shape compelling brand charters, and translate those ideas into test-and-scale initiatives. The ideal candidate is a visionary operator who inspires teams, sets multi‑year direction, governs resource allocation, and balances imaginative brand creation with disciplined execution and measurable commercial outcomes. The Senior Innovation Manager makes sound business decisions and optimizes resources, managing complex and challenging innovation projects. A Taste of What You'll Do:Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams (marketing, insights, product, winemaking, sales) and external partners to deliver new international brand launches.Define and champion multi‑year brand vision and strategic roadmaps that align to business objectives and market opportunities.Own the end‑to‑end brand development process — from charter and consumer definition through brand conception, in‑market test, iteration, and scale.Drive creative ideation and insight synthesis: run workshops, partner with Insights and local experts, and convert qualitative/quantitative research into actionable strategies.Translate consumer needs and category understanding into clear problem statements, product briefs, and go‑to‑market plans.Ensure product‑market fit by partnering early and continuously with winemaking, product development, and supply teams on liquid POV, production feasibility, and compliance.Manage budget, financial model, timelines, and governance to prioritize investments, de‑risk projects, and measure outcomes.Lead test‑market strategy and performance evaluation; iterate propositions and product based on in‑market learning.Build and maintain a network of creative and innovation partners (agencies, design, naming, packaging) and continuously refine the brand development process.Communicate strategy, progress, and tradeoffs to senior leadership; own decision‑making and stakeholder alignment across regions.Attract, develop, and retain high‑performing talent; provide direct line management, coaching, and development.What You'll Need:Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of new brand development, communications strategy, marketing, new product development or project management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of Gallo new brand development or marketing innovation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 6 years of new brand development, communications strategy, marketing, new product development or project management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master's degree plus 5 years of Gallo new brand development or marketing innovation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of new brand development, communications strategy, marketing or new product development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.Experience working for a Multi-National Corporation.Strong understanding of the following areas: wine industry, consumer insights, go-to-market dynamics, 3 tier distribution and corresponding channels.Supervisory/managerial experience.Proficient in English & Spanish.Strong understanding of Pricing & Promotion.Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, IRI, Spectra, SAP and Flex Reporting.Experience working directly to influence all levels of management.Required to travel up to 50% of the time.Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.How You'll Stand OutMBA degree plus 8 years of Gallo new brand development or marketing innovation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Multiple Gallo marketing rotations. Wine industry knowledge. Prior CPG or Beverage industry experience. Experience writing project charters and leading project teams. Experience training and developing junior level brand marketers in executing brand and organizational objectives. Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles. Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Experience performing work that is complex and varied in nature, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity. Experience leading, motivating and inspiring teams.
