An objective of the Process Innovation & Excellence team is to identify and apply continuous improvement & technology opportunities and principles to drive GBS operational performance. Due to the nature of processes overarching functional boundaries (E2E processes) these improvements have an extensive impact on RFC’s businesses (Opcos and C&S departments). Furthermore, due to the expertise of the team, services are provided to individual businesses within RFC.The Senior Innovation Specialist is part of the GBS Process Innovation & Excellence team (PI&E) is responsible for design, improve and optimize E2E processes via innovation & automation solutions.What We Ask Bachelor or master degree in a relevant area, f.e. This requires an appetite to collect outside-in views on industry best practices and translate those into value (either productivity, quality or control improvements)We think outside of the box and we are able to engage our stakeholders in supporting our initiativesWe ensure that innovations and improvements are supported and eventually embedded and owned by the operational departmentsKey responsibilities:Identify value adding opportunities to include in innovation strategy roadmap and drive industry best practices for innovation solutionsDrive execution and alignment of strategy roadmapSafeguard policies and governance and working according to GBS improvement methodologyValorize innovation/automation (process and system) optimization opportunities in RFC E2E processes/systems through identification and execution by operational teams. Drive value managementManaging operational innovation activities in the team by coaching and instructing junior and medior Innovation Specialists on way of workingLeading/substantial role in designing and developing complex automation / innovation solutionsLead (complex) innovation projects and ensure these are deliverable in Budget and on Time with the required QualityPeople management:Lead, coach, develop and appraise employees within the teamImplement a robust back up and knowledge retention planEnsuring adequate people management for team members – having continuous dialogues with team members and register outcomes and feedback in relevant systems, supporting talent development, maintaining high engagement in the team and keeping team attrition lowSupporting team members on PDPEnabling performance reviews in line with global frameworkStaying true to who you really are, that is your starting point at FrieslandCampina.
