Job Description

ActiveFence is seeking an experienced Senior Researcher to join our intelligence desk team. Our teams help top-level companies improve their guardrails using our insights on the latest trends in T&S, exploration of various abuse areas, and new techniques adopted by threat actors, while uncovering vulnerabilities, and delivering actionable recommendations.What will you do?Manage end-to-end research projects focused on trust and safety issues (e.g. hate speech, coordinated inauthentic behavior, platform abuse and red team).Analyze data from various sources, including social media, AI tools, and gaming platforms, using internal tools and OSINT/WEBINT methods.Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.Serve as a primary point of contact for client engagements, translating research into actionable insights and policy recommendations.Stay ahead of trends in content moderation, platform integrity, and safety policyRequirementsAt least 2 years of demonstrated experience managing complex intelligence projects OR an intelligence team - MUSTExtensive WEBINT / OSINT experience (3-4 years) - MUSTNative level English - MUSTStrong written and verbal communication skills- MUSTAt least 2 years of client-facing experience - MUSTStrong understanding of OPSEC principlesAdditional language - an advantagePositive attitude, motivation, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environmentAbility to package complex research findings into client-ready formats (e.g., slide decks, written reports, executive briefings).Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
