Senior International Accountant

Job SummaryCentric is seeking a detail-driven, hands-on Senior International Accountant to join our dynamic and collaborative global accounting team. This high-impact role centers on core general ledger (GL) responsibilities and international entity management, supporting our rapid growth and operational excellence. Success in this role hinges on thorough compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Centric's internal policies across our international operationsKey ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close for international entities (mainly German entities), including:Journal entries, accruals, amortizationsFixed assets, prepaids, and intercompany transactionsPerform cash reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate journal entry bookings under policy and controlsDeliver compliant financial reporting aligned with local GAAP, IFRS, and internal corporate standardsPrepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements across international subsidiariesLead account reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepanciesPartner with external auditors and local accounting firms on statutory audits and tax filingsServe as the primary contact for local finance matters and international complianceIdentify and implement process improvements through automation and workflow standardizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred5–7 years of hands-on GL accounting experience: cash recon, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, journal entries, account reconciliationsAt least 2 years supporting international operationsDeep knowledge of IFRS and/or German GAAPProficiency in Datev and/or Abacus or large-scale ERP systems; knowledge with NetSuite, Coupa and advanced Excel a plusExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsDemonstrated growth potential, adaptability, and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environmentFluency in German, English; other language skills welcomeExperience working across multicultural, cross-functional teamsCentric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status or genetic information.
