Be part of a team driving measurable outcomes for Queenslanders in need while shaping the future of impact investing in Queensland.Your New OpportunityAs a Senior Investment Officer in the Office of Social Impact, you will contribute to the delivery of Queensland Treasury's social impact agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the $20 million per annum Social Entrepreneurs Fund, driving innovative investment solutions and measurable outcomes for Queenslanders in need.In this role, you will collaborate with government and non-government stakeholders to implement the Queensland Government's roadmap for impact investing.Leveraging your investment expertise, you will help assess investment proposals that align with the state's social impact priorities.You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing your proven investment assessment skills and ability to rapidly acquire expertise in the broader social enterprise and impact investing landscape.In This Role, You Will Support the Director to deliver a roadmap for impact investing, focusing on measurable outcomes for Queenslanders in need. Contribute to the development and assessment of impact investment proposals, ensuring alignment with the Queensland Government's social impact agenda. Provide strategic policy and implementation advice to key decision-makers on the development and delivery of impact investing products. Build and maintain effective relationships with government and non-government stakeholders to foster collaboration and shared impact. Assist the Director in negotiations with senior decision-makers to secure opportunities for increased investment in social impact initiatives.What Experience You Will BringTo excel in this role, you will demonstrate: High-level interpersonal skills and experience engaging stakeholders at various levels. A strong understanding of commercial and investment principles in public or private sector contexts. Ability to research and analyse social impact investment data, trends and emerging opportunities. Proven ability to assess and analyse social impact investment proposals.
