The Role: At Apryse we rely on IT systems to power the solutions that help consumers around the world. We’re seeking an experienced senior IT operations specialist who has the technological skills to help solve the toughest challenges. This person will analyze current systems and assets, analyze, diagnose and solve complex user issues, and help manage our internal SaaS systems. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge to handle complex problems, security, migrations, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The senior IT operations specialist will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day effectiveness of our employees.Advanced user problem diagnosis within EMEA and APAC regionsRoot cause analysis of user issuesPurchases, Intune/Jamf setups, configures and maintains devicesTake responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiativeResearch and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and softwareTrack and maintain hardware and software inventory (MDM)Coordinates equipment shipments and receivables, as well as processes surplus equipment in accordance with ITS procedures.Responsibilities: Analyze departmental needs, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisionsTrain employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when neededMaintains Department IT inventory system by keeping up-to-date and accurate records of serialized asset information.Plans and executes user office moves, adds and changes as required.  This may include the involvement of ITS and local administration for large scale moves.Maintains and updates user IAM, account information and group permissions.Corresponds with users and staff concerning issue status, resolution and task completion with little need for escalation.Ensures docket monitor systems are functioning properly including maintenance, upgrades, and replacements as needed.Works with vendors to determine warranty or repair status.Assists in monitoring ITSM queue, verifying that issues are handled in a timely manner according to SLA guidelines; identifies trends with customer tickets; assists with escalated service tickets and complicated situations. Develops and assists with technical and operational solutions through collaboration with other technical services staff.  Assisting with troubleshooting systems and computer root cause analysis by working with other technical services team members. Documents solutions and adds them to the published knowledge base. Reviews knowledge base entries for accuracy and makes updates as necessary.
