Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in technical project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and process governance within the Belgian energy market. You’ll lead projects end-to-end — from scoping and planning to delivery and stakeholder alignment — ensuring outcomes meet both business and regulatory expectations.You will work within a Transformation Office and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and market partners (DSOs, TSOs, suppliers).What You’ll DoLead and coordinate IT projects from A to Z, ensuring timely and quality delivery.Manage planning, risk, scope, and reporting across multiple technical workstreams.Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings involving diverse actors in the energy market.Ensure projects follow Prince2 / PMBOK methodologies, governance, and documentation standards.Support teams in Agile and DevOps practices, bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders.Monitor dependencies, identify risks, and coordinate resolution with all involved parties.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Transformation Department.What are we looking for?Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and coordinating IT projects.Proven experience in Agile testing and DevOps environments.Strong knowledge of PM methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBOK.Possession of at least one certification: Prince2 Foundation, Prince2 Practitioner, or Prince2 Agile.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops with multiple market players (DSO, TSO, supplier, balance responsible, etc.).Proven coordination experience within the MIG6 context (at any market role: Atrias, TSO, DGO, supplier).Minimum 5 years of experience in the Belgian energy market, including MIG6 and/or DGO processes.Fluent in Dutch or French (CEFR C1 level) with good understanding of the other language.Nice-to-Have SkillsTechnical or engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent experience.Familiarity with Agile transformation and hybrid project delivery.Experience managing CAPEX-driven transformation initiatives.What do we offer?Location: Brussels (hybrid, 2 days/week on-site)Contract: Freelance or PermanentWorkload: 100%Start Date: 22 January 2026End Date: 22 January 2027 (extendable by 12 months)
