Join our team in EAR and take the opportunity for personal and professional growth while helping shape a sustainable future for the transport industry.Role SummaryThis role is a 40/60 blend of:user support onsite and remote – providing basic and advanced user assistance, handling hardware installation and troubleshooting, and ensuring end-user systems run smoothlyInfrastructure, security, and projects – working closely with the IT Manager on implementing infrastructure changes, security initiatives, and supporting IT auditsYou will be the go-to technical expert in the local office, while also contributing to regional projects, infrastructure improvements, and compliance efforts. Regional support considers around 10% travel across region on annual bases, as per needs.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support (approx. 40%)Provide advanced L1/L2 technical support for users (on-site and remote)Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripheralsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues quickly and effectivelySupport Microsoft 365, Teams, and business-critical applicationsCoordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacementsAssist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment preparationInfrastructure, Security & Projects (approx. 60%)Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, and SCCMTroubleshoot and optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall settingsParticipate in IT security initiatives including vulnerability management and patchingSupport IT audits (ISO 27001, TISAX) and maintain compliance documentationAssist in planning and executing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and rolloutsTo communicate with vendors and be single point of contact in-between internal global teams and vendor's representativesEnsure compliance in purchasing process, including but not limited to budgeting internal and external licenses, hardware, etc.Assist IT Director with planning and budgeting process, communication with functions Heads, cost tracking, reportingTraining of employees or key stakeholder groupsWork closely with global IT teams to align with Scania standards and policiesRequired Skills And Qualifications5+ years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure rolesHands-on L2/L3 support experience, including hardware installation and maintenanceStrong knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Windows OS/Server, Microsoft 365, Teams)Strong knowledge with Active Directory, Intune, SCCM (or similar tools)Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)Practical understanding of IT security practices and audit processesFamiliarity with ITIL (Incident, Request, Change Management)Excellent troubleshooting and communication skillsOrganizational capability in working with large amount of data, communication with function Heads under increased time pressure, clear prioritizationProficiency in English (spoken and written)Willingness to travel regionally as requiredValid driving licencePreferredRelevant certifications (Microsoft, networking, ITIL, security)Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or logistics industriesDirect involvement in ISO 27001 or TISAX compliance projectsWhat We OfferWe offer a permanent employment contract with a six-month probation period.
