What this means for you is the opportunity to be a part of delivering innovative solutions and helping to solve real business problems for a wide variety of valued clients.Work Location: IOI City, PutrajayaWork Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)Main ResponsibilitiesSupport business operations by configuring systems or developing new features within Java applicationsMonitor application performance and ensure high responsiveness and reliabilityAnalyze and resolve production issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measuresContribute to maintaining and improving code quality, with a focus on test automationStay updated with technology trends and propose solutions that enhance productivity and business efficiencyMaintain comprehensive documentation for development and production support processesExperienceMinimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer, with exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologiesStrong understanding of development processes including testing, code quality, and system designExperience in a technical leadership capacity within a project is a plusTechnical SkillsProven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar roleStrong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patternsProficient in Java frameworks such as Spring and HibernateSkilled in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)Familiar with version control systems such as Git or RTCSolid knowledge of RESTful APIs and web servicesExperience with JUnit and automated testing practicesSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate with a multinational teamAbility to work well in a team environment and engage with both technical and business stakeholdersSelf-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing prioritiesStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityAcademic RequirementsBachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or a related fieldAlternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) may also be consideredProfessional certifications (e.g., ITIL) are a plusPreferred Industry BackgroundExperience in the Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable.
