Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java DevOps Engineer to join a development team based in Luxembourg. The selected candidate will actively contribute to the modernization of tools, technologies, and application services in an environment transitioning toward a stronger DevSecOps approach.Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support application teams during technical transitions and migrations related to organizational standards and tools.Your main tasks will include:Developing and maintaining complex applications using Java / JavaScript.Integrating DevSecOps practices and addressing security and code quality issues.Participating in follow-up meetings (on-site and remote).Preparing technical documentation in English.Technical SkillsStrong command of Java / JavaScript and the Spring Boot framework.Proven experience with SonarQube, GitOps, JUnit, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL.Solid understanding of DevSecOps concepts and related tools.Knowledge of cybersecurity and experience with vulnerability remediation using analysis tools.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) is a plus.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.Comfortable working in agile environments.ProfileMinimum 6 years of experience in Web or JEE development.Experience providing technical support and conducting technology research.Ability to design and present innovative technical solutions.Excellent command of English (C1–C2 level); French is considered an asset.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.EU nationality or valid work permit for Luxembourg required.
