Senior Java Software Engineer

Our client delivers cutting-edge digital solutions for major international brands, combining world-class engineering with a people-first approach.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer who enjoys building reliable, scalable backend systems and working directly with clients in an Agile team environment. You will contribute to modern digital platforms, solve complex technical problems, and support high-quality software delivery across the full development lifecycle.Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and deploy backend services in Java, following project requirements. • Estimate development tasks and actively participate in sprint planning and daily team sync-ups. • Perform and contribute to code reviews, ensuring best practices and clean, maintainable solutions. • Work closely with QA teams to ensure delivered code meets quality and performance standards. • Communicate with clients through email and virtual meetings to provide updates and align on expectations. • Build and integrate services within a microservices architecture, using containerized environments.Candidate Profile: • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Java in a professional setting. • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, backend design patterns, and engineering best practices. • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar). • Good knowledge of web technologies and REST API-based services. • Familiarity with version control and team collaboration in software projects. • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration tools). • Practical experience with Spring and Spring Boot to build scalable backend applications. • Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases. • Solid awareness of the full software development cycle (build → test → release → operate). • English: advanced (written and verbal communication with technical and business teams). • Strong analytical mindset, organized approach, and ability to work independently. • Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks and delivery teams.We would like to thank all applicants for their interest.
