We have a wide range of clients from the financial sector, fintech, government projects, manufacturing companies etc. WHAT WE DOWe are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.Do you like us already? This means designing and developing highly reliable backend services, building event-driven integrations, maintaining data models, and ensuring secure, compliant, enterprise-grade delivery.You will work hands-on with Java, Spring, Kafka, Docker, and Oracle - engineering services that handle large-scale data, integrate across multiple domains, and are essential to how the bank operates. System design, performance troubleshooting, and observability will be your daily game.You will be collaborating closely with POs, BAs, Architects, and Engineers in an Agile setup, using modern engineering practices and clear documentation standards. DO YOU HAVE...🌟 5+ years of Java (JVM, Java 8+) with strong debugging and performance skills.🌟 3+ years with Spring Boot (Data, MVC, Security).🌟 REST API design experience with solid versioning and documentation.🌟 Oracle DB skills (SQL, PL/SQL, tuning, indexing).🌟 Kafka experience (producers, consumers, partitions, offsets).🌟 Experience with Docker for containerized services.🌟 System design understanding (service boundaries, integrations, data models).🌟 Working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and XSL.🌟 Agile team experience and strong communication with business and tech stakeholders.
