We are looking for Senior Kotlin Engineer/Architect to join our team.About The ProjectYou'll join an Insurtech company offering a cutting-edge platform that empowers property & casualty (P&C) insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs to make smarter pricing, rating, and underwriting decisions.The platform leverages decision intelligence, predictive modeling, AI/ML, and analytics to turn fragmented or sparse data into actionable insights, reduce manual work, improve pricing accuracy, and accelerate underwriting workflows.We're looking for someone who: Has strong experience with Kotlin in web-based environments (not Android) Is highly skilled with Spring Boot and/or Ktor (this is super important) Has solid experience with Hibernate and Spring frameworks Understands modern software architecture and can contribute to design discussions Has valid EU work authorization (ideally based in Poland) Is fluent in English - both spoken and written You will Build, enhance, and maintain core backend services using Kotlin (Spring Boot or Ktor) Collaborate with architects, product managers, and data scientists to design scalable and reliable solutions Improve performance, stability, and maintainability of the platform Contribute ideas for architecture, design patterns, and tooling Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices What do we mean by freelance?Read more at Monterail Tech Network
