Kubernetes and containerization are the primary focus of this role, with essential workflows built around Docker, GitOps using ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines executed in GitLab. Deep Linux knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory; hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies is a must. You will join an experienced, globally distributed team and provide technical leadership.Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure in hybrid environments (bare metal, VMware, AWS, Azure)Operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and securityDesign and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD (Helm charts, deployment synchronization, secrets management, automatic rollbacks)Manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, including runners, jobs, pipeline-as-code, and seamless integration with container registriesBuild reliable Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests (ConfigMaps, Secrets, Deployments, StatefulSets) to standardize service deploymentsMonitor and optimize cluster performance (resource limits, pod affinity, autoscaling policies) using tools like Prometheus and GrafanaHandle networking and ingress/egress for Kubernetes workloads: DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, and firewall rulesTroubleshoot containerized applications including GPU-enabled workloads (NVIDIA toolkit, resource scheduling, CUDA/cuDNN compatibility)Integrate Kubernetes storage solutions (S3 buckets, Fibre Channel, persistent volumes) for applications requiring stateful dataChampion container security: image hardening, scanning, secrets protection, and adherence to least-privilege configurationsCollaborate with a globally distributed team to define and improve operational standards and workflowsParticipate in an on-call rotation for Kubernetes-related incidentsWhat You'll BringAt least 5 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environmentsDeep knowledge of Docker and containerization techniques (multi-stage builds, runtime optimization, image hardening)Proven expertise with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD (declarative deployments, rollback, Helm chart creation)Practical experience managing pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, including auto-scaling runners, artifact storage, and container registry integrationStrong understanding of Kubernetes resource management (requests, limits, node/pod autoscaling)Knowledge of Kubernetes-native networking (DNS, ingress controllers, NetworkPolicies) and volume/storage provisioning (PV/PVC, S3 buckets)Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools for Kubernetes (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD/FluentBit)Experience with GPU-powered container workloads (NVIDIA toolkit, device plugins, GPU scheduling/tuning)Excellent troubleshooting skills for containers and Kubernetes clusters in hybrid environmentsSkilled in effective technical communication and documentation within distributed teamsNice to haveKubernetes-related certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)Infrastructure as Code tooling experience (Terraform or Ansible) for cluster provisioningFamiliarity with cloud-native Kubernetes services (e.g., AWS EKS, Azure AKS)Python for scripting and automating Kubernetes workflows using API integrationsGPU workload specialization, including machine learning or high-performance computing appsHelm chart best practices and custom Kubernetes operator developmentWhat We OfferFlexible working hours and hybrid workHealth programs, sports and team eventsAn extensive training program and exciting internal development opportunitiesMeal allowance
