Senior KYC Associate (WWFT compliance) – with supervising talentAt Briddge Legal & Finance, we help international clients navigate the financial and legal side of doing business. This means we can support our clients across different countries and time zones, making their journey a lot smoother.We’re looking for a Senior KYC Associate (WWFT compliance) who’s ready to take ownership of our customer due diligence processes and help us raise the bar in compliance and keep things running smoothly and safely. You’ll be the go-to person for complex KYC cases, ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory requirements while enabling the business to grow safely. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with other KYC specialists, the Compliance Officer and the legal and finance teams. You’ll also mentor junior colleagues along the way and therefore experience with or interest in training and mentoring junior KYC members and supervising a small team is required. Together with the Compliance Officer and the KYC manager you will be developing streamlined processes and plans to meet the strategic KYC goals.If you’re detail-oriented, curious and enjoy solving problems, this could be a great fit for you.What You’ll Be DoingLead and perform KYC reviews for new and existing international clients, including high-risk cases and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for complex client profiles.Review and verify client identification documents, beneficial ownership structures, and source of funds.Staying up to date on KYC/AML trends and regulations and keep the firm fully compliant with AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations.Coach and support junior KYC analysts in complex cases and quality assurance. Supervise team members and team workload.Spot opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and policies. Pro-actively reach out to the Compliance Officer and KYC manager to develop streamlined processes in line with strategic KYC goals and to escalate unusual or suspicious activities in line with internal procedures.Working closely together with Business Development and Client Management teams to facilitate a smooth client onboarding process.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who values learning, teamwork, integrity, and fresh ideas – and who takes responsibility seriously. With your drive and ability to work independently, you’ll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our KYC onboarding process.Master or Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, with ideally at least 5 years’ experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance. Strong knowledge of Dutch Wwft and Wtt regulations, as well as global KYC/AML frameworks (FATF, EU AML Directives, OFAC, etc.).Experience within a trust or fiduciary services company is preferred, as well as a good understanding of the Dutch language.Experience with reviews of internationally operational clients (incl. PEPs, complex structures, cross-border transactions) and familiar with KYC/AML screening tools and data platforms.Confident communicator who can make compliance simple for non-experts.
