The University of Hong KongApply now Ref.: 533479Work type: Full-timeDepartment: Department of Chemistry (25200)Categories: Executive / Technical / SupportHong KongSenior Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:533479) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance)Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007); OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR possess a recognized Diploma or above with at least 5 years of hands-on administrative experience. Applicants should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good interpersonal and organizational skills, and be self-motivated and attentive to details. They should also have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively, multitask and handle ad hoc tasks. Those with experience in accounting is absolutely an advantage.The appointee will be responsible for handling invoices through the eProcurement system. Daily works include, but not limited to, handling invoice data, scanning invoices, filing documents and performing any other duties as assigned.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.The University only accepts online applications for the above post.
