Senior Lead – Quality Assurance Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead QA Engineer to lead the planning, implementation, and management of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes across software projects.Responsibilities Identify and plan all required tests, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Migration Testing, Load Testing, and Smoke Testing, to ensure all project requirements are met.Develop detailed test plans to validate that systems comply with design specifications and business requirements.Define effective test strategies and prepare comprehensive test plans for project teams.Analyze system and technical requirement specifications, reviewing and validating test cases for accuracy and completeness.Ensure test cases sufficiently cover all test scenarios and align with planned testing activities to optimize resource utilization.Monitor test case development progress across teams and ensure timely completion.Execute test cases and maintain accurate documentation of results to uphold testing integrity.Conduct unit, functional, and system integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of customer care and billing systems within project timelines.Oversee test processes, including defect tracking and resolution management.Analyze, document, and report defects while ensuring user requirements are correctly implemented.Prepare, consolidate, and present test progress and status reports supporting all aspects of business requirements.Provide leadership and guidance to QA Engineers, fostering team growth and goal achievement.Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and reliability.Oversee pre-production deployment, verify source control, and support the DBA team during system releases.Maintain a production defect list and communicate updates to stakeholders and end users.Prepare and manage QA and development test environments to ensure smooth quality assurance operations.Manage cloud-based test environments efficiently within budget constraints.pdate and maintain the divisional knowledge base to close information gaps and promote continuous improvement.Verify deployment processes, identify process issues, and ensure prompt resolution to maintain operational efficiency.Administer and maintain the Quality Centre platform to ensure deliverables meet established quality standards.Review SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) metrics, identify areas for process improvement, and implement corrective actionsExpected Profile Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a advanced qualification such as a related Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 Years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing. Hands on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Migration Testing, Load Testing, and Smoke Testing,Strong communication, technical, and management skills.
