Vanderbilt University: College of Arts and Science: Natural Sciences: Biological SciencesLocationVanderbilt University, Nashville, TNOpen DateSep 15, 2025DescriptionNON-TENURE TRACK SENIOR LECTURE FACULTYDEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, VANDERBILT UNIVERSITYThe Department of Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University invites applications to fill two non-tenure-track faculty positions in both Anatomy & Physiology/Cell Biology and Biochemistry/Chemical biology at the Senior Lecturer rank, to begin January 2, 2026.Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Physiology, or related disciplines (awarded no later than December 15, 2025) and a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Successful candidates will design and teach lecture and laboratory courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Cell Biology, and/or Biochemistry as appropriate to the position and experience. Candidates with expertise in biostatistics will also be given strong consideration. New faculty will provide additional instructional support for the department as needed (https://as.vanderbilt.edu/biological-sciences/).The Department of Biological Sciences, housed within the College of Arts and Science, is a community of tenure track and lecture track faculty with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research at all levels of biological organization.
