Description:A. Legal Support / Advisory for Business Units (BUs)Act as the primary contact point and representative of Group Legal in working directly with Business Units (BUs).Provide legal advice and handle legal issues arising within the assigned business areas, including: telecommunications, e-commerce, advertising, technology, AI, online games, media, intellectual property, data privacy, cloud computing, electronic information, social networks, etc.Represent or participate in handling and supervising litigation and dispute resolution matters.Monitor, analyze, and assess the impact of relevant legal regulations on assigned BUs; proactively coordinate with internal departments to provide compliance guidance.Conduct regular compliance reviews of products within the assigned BU; work with relevant functions (Compliance, ERM) to provide risk alerts and recommend remedial measures.Build and maintain effective working relationships with assigned BUs.Participate in policy advocacy by providing input on draft regulations impacting assigned BUs or as directed by the Legal Director.Perform other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.B. Team ManagementManage, allocate tasks, and supervise the performance of team members.Support team members in working with BUs and resolving complex legal issues.Train, mentor, and develop the capabilities of team members.Participate in Group Legal’s collective activities.Contribute initiatives and collaborate with the group of leaders to improve service quality and operational efficiency.Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher; preference for candidates with postgraduate qualifications, a lawyer’s practicing certificate, or other relevant certifications.At least 6 years of professional experience in legal practice at corporations and/or law firms.Minimum 1 year of experience in team management.Expertise in at least one of the relevant areas (telecommunications, e-commerce, advertising, AI, gaming, intellectual property, data privacy, etc.). Experience across multiple areas will be an advantage.Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution.Language: Proficiency in English across all four skills; legal English proficiency is a strong plus.Key skills required:Team management and people development.Project management and cross-functional coordination.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Legal research, synthesis, and presentation skills.
