With a focus on the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, is accountable for the preparation of all the shipping/custom documentation and the related transport to the delivery point agreed with the Client.Management and coordination of Logistics operations and related activities of ongoing projects, serving as a reference point for the work team, promoting and ensuring the application of best practices in operational areas.Main task and responsibilities:The Senior Logistic operator follows up the Logistic activities of the contracted/outsourced equipment. He / She reports functionally to the Expediting & logistics Manager and on project level to the POC / PPM / PM of the relevant Nextchem daughter company;The Senior Logistics operator also keeps a close cooperation with the inspectors, expediters and logistics team, project control and the project manager;Provide input on logistic activities during the proposal phase;Review/comment the Logistic plan to be issued by supplier;Review/comment and approve vendor’s shipping docs;Produce the necessary logistic document deliverables for custom/export purposes.Organize shipping and warehousing;Provide the Export Compliance Officer (ECO) with the necessary input to deal with custom authorities;Collect and provide to PM/PPM the logistic documents needed to trigger payments from clients under LC;Support PM/PPM towards Nextchem clients in terms of logistic documents and shipping status reports;Organize Logistics archive/Dashboard on share point Define structurally incoterms and logistics services according to A+B+C international transactions (current countries and new countries);Coordinate the management of claims related to marine and shipping insurance policies whether they are taken out by the company or by clients/partners;Coordinate marine warranty surveyor visits at port of origin/ transshipment;Comment and approve Logistics project procedures (ex. Packing and marking etc.);Follow up Logistics invoicing process, archiving evidence.Authorities:Responsible for signing applications of Certificates of Origin, Movement Certificates EUR.1 and EUR-MED, legalization of trade documents, Carnets ATA (Chamber of Commerce export documents);Responsible for signing applications Customs declarations and permits;Responsible for activating FF and managing related SES.Complexity Of The Position & Specific Handling Requirements:International trade environment with many stakeholders;Handling of complex, customized, long lead time and high value products;Liaising with suppliers and customers Logistics counterparts;Actively reports the progress of the logistics operations versus contractual requirements both client and manufactures;Attend KOM with both manufacturer and clients defining LOG requirementsProvide Logistics input on LC;Produce guidelines and update stakeholders about new INCO-ICC-ISPM and custom rules;Support the project team in evaluating change orders related to logistics activities, considering possible impacts on delivery and service quality;Support project team on specific custom status solutions (ex. Temporary import/bonded area/free zones etc.).Knowledge And Educational Level:Bachelor degree technical/business administration or equivalent by experience;Knowledge of project management, sales and finance;Knowledge of logistical operations and customs clearance processes;Good communication and negotiation skills;Solid Knowledge of ERP - EDI systems;Knowledge of INCO-ICC-ISPM standard and regulation;Knowledge of MWS guidelines and regulations.Required Level Of Experiences:Familiar with customs legislation/ harmonized tariff codes, combined with export permits and knowledge of INCOTERMS rules and fiscal impacts and International Transport documents (Bill of Lading/CMR/AWB).Knowledge of (international) Customs legislation and related tools.Knowledge of international liner terms.Knowledge of international marine cargo insurance legislation.Knowledge of multimodal transport (towage, sea freight, ocean freight, road freight etc.)Contractual understanding and management of transport services.Ability to have a clear overview at the main level and at the level of detail with the execution of projects.Team player, having strong analytical and project management skills.Previous experience as logistic officer, project logistic coordinator or shipping and custom officer from an EPC or EPCI contractor will be a plus.Fluent in English both spoken and written, German would be a plus.Solid experience in logistics within a technical environment (min 5 years)Competences:LeadershipResult orientationPlanning & OrganizationCommunicationCustomer orientationTeamworkJob Location: Catania, ItalySi prega di inviare le candidature al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica: RecruitingNextChem@key2people.com
