Job Description

1.Objective of the PositionImplement, lead and oversee the national last mile logistics operations for the e-commerce delivery business, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality parcel deliveries through a new operative model; third-party REGIONAL logistics vendor (LSPs) across all Mexican states. This position ensures on-time delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in alignment with company growth, cost savings and las mile delivery service standards.2.Main Strategic Responsibilities3PL Vendor ManagementManage and monitor on field and remote the Regional LSP providers responsible for national parcel pickup and delivery for regions.Ensure full compliance with contractual agreements LSA, SLA and NDA. Which SLAs and KPIs (on-time delivery SLA=P95, proof of delivery, NDRS´s & close loops incident resolution, cost efficiency).Lead weekly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews (WBR/QBRs) with vendors.Track and follow up on claims, incidents, and delivery exceptions.Operational ExecutionSupervise daily order dispatch, tracking, and delivery performance through digital dashboards.Coordinate escalation and resolution of delivery issues with internal and external stakeholders.Support reverse logistics (returns) processes to maintain a positive customer experience.Align daily operations with cut-off times, inventory readiness, and order cycle time goals.Continuous Improvement & Cost EfficiencyIdentify process optimization and route improvement opportunities in the last mile network.Propose cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.Support the implementation of new delivery models (same-day, next-day, lockers, PUDO´s points, etc).Benchmark and assess alternative 3PL partners and technologies.Data & Performance AnalyticsDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards (KPI tracking, cost performance, delivery times).Analyze trends to detect bottlenecks and service gaps.Provide insight-driven recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.Compliance & SafetyEnsure the vendor operates within legal, fiscal, and corporate compliance frameworks.Maintain documentation related to vendor contracts, audits, and delivery performance.3.Skills and CompetenciesProven vendor management and negotiation experienceExcellent understanding of last mile and e-commerce logisticsStrong analytical and data interpretation skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Effective communication and stakeholder managementAbility to work under pressure and solve problems quicklyStrong organization, prioritization, and attention to detailKnowledge of digital logistics tools, tracking systems (WMS, TMS, Delivery Apps )Continuous improvement mindset and customer-centric focus4.Qualifications and RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.Experience: 4–6 years in logistics or transportation management, with at least 2 years in e-commerce last mile or parcel delivery.Industry: E-commerce, Retail, or FMCG.Languages: Fluent in Spanish; Intermediate–Advanced English (oral and written).Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (dashboards, pivot tables, data analysis), Power BI or other data visualization tools, Experience with ERP/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)Familiarity with tracking and route optimization softwareWillingness to travel within Mexico (up to 20%).
