Senior Management Accountant

Barden are excited to be partnering with a fast growing Irish cleantech business as they seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team in a company that’s scaling rapidly across multiple markets. It is a newly created role that will allow you put your own stamp on things and really see your impact as the business continues to scale.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the production and analysis of monthly management accounts across the group, presenting insights to senior leadership.Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with auditors and tax advisers.Act as deputy to the Finance Manager and provide cover for accounts assistants when needed.Manage month-end processes including journal reviews, accruals, and prepayments.Perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare statutory filings such as VAT returns and corporation tax computations.Implement financial risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.Oversee financial operations including invoicing, payables, and receivables.Drive process improvements within the Finance function and across the wider business.About YouFully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with proven experience in a similar role.Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.High attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team.Experience with cloud-based accounting software is highly desirable.
