Ltd. is looking for Senior Manager - AccountsJob Description / ResponsibilityJob Overview:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Manager - Accounts** to oversee our financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting.Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives.Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial standards.Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize manufacturing processes and profitability.Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and supply chain, to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.Manage audits, both internal and external, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support long-term business planning.Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure effective working capital management.Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and competitivenessEducational RequirementsBachelor of Commerce (BCom) in AccountingBachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting & Information SystemCA Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field ; CPA, CMA or MBA PreferredExperience RequirementsAt least 5 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG)Additional RequirementsPreferred Skills:Experience with lean manufacturing principles and cost optimization strategies.Familiarity with financial software and automation tools.Strong business acumen and ability to align financial goals with operational strategies.Ensure timely filing of TDS, and income tax returns.Prepare annual tax computation and assist in external audits.Liaise with NBR and other tax authorities regarding assessments or queries.Manage corporate tax planning and compliance strategy.Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.Maintain proper documentation for all tax-related mattersMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proven leadership and team management abilities with strong communication skills.In-depth understanding of GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.Job LocationChattogram (Chattogram Sadar)
