In this role, you’ll collaborate with solution teams, leaders from other practices, Bain’s Core Innovation Team, Technology Solutions, Next Gen Software Solutions, our Consumer Products Center of Excellence, general consulting teams, and external partners.WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAMAs a Senior Manager for Digital Products in the Consumer Products practice, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of tech- and AI-enabled tools that drive growth and innovation for our clients and teams. You'll help shape the product roadmap, oversee delivery, and serve as a key liaison between Bain’s leadership, consulting teams, and our broader innovation ecosystem.WHAT YOU’LL DOStrategy, Planning & OperationsAdvise practice leaders on digital and AI strategy, roadmap prioritization, and build/buy/partner decisionsDevelop and execute the product roadmap, turning IP and innovation into impactful toolsManage digital tools across the portfolio (e.g., BBAi, RGM) and plan for future pipelineLead quarterly product goal-setting, performance reporting, and go-to-market planningOwn the tech/AI budget and resource planning in partnership with CIT, Vector, and othersBuild strong relationships with partners and clients to continuously test and evolve productsDelivery & ExecutionDefine and manage product backlogs, working with tool Product ManagersEnsure timely delivery, clear decision-making, and risk management across the portfolioAdvise development teams (Vector, BCN Labs, NGSS) and maximize ROI on resourcingLead cross-product initiatives and report outcomes to senior leadershipEngage directly with clients to implement tools, test features, and gather feedbackEcosystem & Competitive LandscapeCoordinate with internal groups and external tech players, startups, and partnersMonitor market trends and competitor offerings to inform strategyProvide thought leadership on where to partner, build, or evolve our tech capabilitiesData & InsightsOversee proprietary and third-party data assets related to Consumer Products toolsCollaborate with the BCN D&I team to build benchmarks and insights with topic leadersABOUT YOUMaster’s degree or equivalent; background in Data Science or Engineering preferred7+ years’ experience in product management, enterprise tech, or digital transformationTrack record leading digital and AI initiatives from idea to launchStrong fluency in data architecture and digital product development lifecyclesExperience working closely with end users to shape product strategy and feature setsExcellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teamsExperience in consulting or advisory roles with exposure to client needs and deliveryPassion for technology, AI, and the evolving consumer products landscapeIrrespective of an individual’s specific background, the successful candidate will be: Entrepreneurial and at-cause: knows how to prioritize what needs to be done and rallies colleagues to get things accomplished; “roll up the sleeves” type of attitude, with an eye for continuous improvementA servant leader: track record of managing high-performing, service-oriented team members, motivating and developing colleagues above and below their own tenure and enabling their successFuture-oriented: appetite to advocate for the customer, disrupt and innovateCollaborative: knows how to work with and through others to drive results and make change happen; well connected, with an extensive network of potentially relevant relationshipsFun: passionate yet humble – someone Bainies and clients enjoy interacting with
