Production Planning Manager (13-Month Assignment contract) - Helsingborg, Sweden A leading global organization within the healthcare sector is seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager for a 13-month contract. This is a strategic role, responsible for overseeing and optimizing production planning operations across a dynamic product portfolio.You will lead a team of planners, align production schedules with business objectives, and ensure efficient execution from planning through delivery, balancing supply reliability, cost, and service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop the production planning function, driving alignment between demand, capacity, and execution.Oversee the creation and optimization of production schedules to ensure on-time and in-full delivery.Partner cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to ensure operational readiness.Analyze capacity, performance data, and market insights to identify risks and opportunities.Implement and continuously improve planning systems, standards, and processes.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report insights to senior leadership.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and resource utilization.Support new product introductions and operational transitions with robust planning strategies.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.8–10 years’ experience in production or supply planning within a complex, regulated environment (healthcare, pharma, or FMCG preferred).Proven ability to manage end-to-end planning cycles and lead teams in a matrix setting.Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.High proficiency in Excel and advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP APO or equivalent).Demonstrated ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.This position offers the chance to make a tangible impact in a leading, globally recognized organization, ensuring critical products reach customers when they’re needed most.Complete our Compensation and Benefits in Niche Tech Industries Survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6MXGW39By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
