Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Job In alignment with the Middle East Africa Region’s commitment to a client-centered strategy, the business enablement team is designed to increase our market presence and improve our agility in complex and changing environments. A pillar of the Business Enablement team MEA, the successful applicant will be pivotal in refining our commercial offerings to meet the demands of a highly regulated environment and in pioneering innovative distribution channels, including partnerships, joint ventures, and business correspondents, to better serve the region’s dynamic markets and client requirements.

Reporting to the Director of Business Enablement, MEA, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with Cluster and Country General Managers on transformation and change initiatives, with a special emphasis on: Improving the performance of Intl. SOS Clinics in MEA regionAssessing the suitability of Intl. SOS Medical Services (MS) solutions across various markets, identifying any gaps, and serving as the primary point of contact for the regional team’s interactions with the group’s Product and Solution & Major Project MS teams to tailor solutions to market needs. Taking an active role in the continuous evaluation of Intl.

SOS’s distribution models (including direct sales, partnerships, and distributors) within the region, especially focusing on areas where Intl. SOS has yet to establish service delivery. This involves understanding market dynamics, analysing competition, and evaluating opportunities for both direct and indirect business engagements for Intl. SOS. Contributing to the regional effort to adjust delivery models in accordance with changes in local regulations and financial laws is also key. Championing compliance with internal approval processes for major and mid-sized project proposals to ensure that business in the region remains profitable and operational risks are minimized. Key Responsibilities Leadership:

Collaborating closely with Cluster and Country General Managers on transformation and change initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Head of Sales of clusters to assess needs and promote new solutionsChampioning compliance with internal approval processes for major and mid-sized project proposals. Providing support to Cluster Managers through internal consulting missions.

Clients RelationsIn close collaboration with the dedicated sales team from countries and clusters work with the Client to ensure their needs and perceptions are clearly defined On specific product and solution development under the leadership of the Director of Business Enablement MEA, manages client relations Support the development of Client/prospects relationships at Medical Services locations that do not contain dedicated team on the ground (green field markets)Plan & Align: Enhancing market presence and agility in alignment with the client-centered strategy. Refining commercial offerings to meet the demands of a highly regulated environment. Assessing the suitability of Intl.

SOS Medical Services (MS) solutions and tailoring them to market needs. Taking an active role in the continuous evaluation of distribution models and adjusting them as needed. Business Development: Pioneering innovative distribution channels, including partnerships, joint ventures, and business correspondents. Evaluating opportunities for both direct and indirect business engagements for Intl. SOS. Contributing to the regional effort to adjust delivery models in accordance with changes in local regulations and financial laws. Working in close collaboration with the Africa MS project directors for countries with high potential for mid-size projects.

Partnership and joint ventures Support the development of an overall roadmap for partnership in MEA Be a force of proposition for operational and commercial models (from teaming agreement to equity ventures), develop the frame of agreements allowing profitable collaboration with partners in the regionCollaborate closely with the Legal Counsels of MEA regionRequired Skills and Knowledge A minimum of 10 years of experience in international and multi-cultural environments is essential as the successful candidate will be interfacing at a senior level internally across multiple functions.

Experience on medical staffing (solutions development, costing models) would be a plus Experience in developing, selling and delivering consulting in the health and security domain in MEAExperience of working in large multinational matrix environment. Experience in the oil, gas, mining or major infrastructure sectors will be considered a plusRequired Qualifications - Postgraduate in Business or Management is essential. Required Languages: EnglishAdditional languages such as French and Arabic will be considered a plusTravel / Rotation RequirementsExtensive travel will be required in the Middle East and Africa Region
