Who You’ll Work WithThis role is based in Busan and reports to the Director of Footwear Manufacturing Engineering based in Busan Korea. You’ll collaborate closely with external footwear manufacturing partners, the broader Footwear Supply Chain organization, and a highly matrixed network of internal and external stakeholders—requiring strong cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity. As part of a global team, you’ll help deliver excellence to our product teams and consumers around the world every day.Who We Are Looking ForSenior Manager, Chemical Engineering is one of the keys to drive the FW Innovation, Product, Manufacturing and Product Excellence. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of subject matter experts across various disciplines, and lead both your direct team and the broader Chemical Engineering and Product Testing network to successfully deliver key projects and strategic initiatives.A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience); a master’s in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or similar is a big plus8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years leading teamsExperience in the footwear industry is preferred, but backgrounds in related fields like chemical vendors or manufacturing partners are also welcomeStrong leadership skills—able to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teamsA strategic thinker who thrives in complex environments and knows how to build strong relationships across internal and external partnersExcellent communication in English (written and verbal), with solid project and time management skillsComfortable with occasional travel (up to 10%) and flexible enough to work across global time zonesProven success in managing supplier/vendor relationships and representing brand interests in large organizationsSkilled in identifying and managing risks and issuesConfident using standard Microsoft Office toolsWhat You’ll Work OnYou'll help advance Nike’s mission to create world-class footwear by leading manufacturing and product excellence, while driving sustainable growth.
