This leader will be responsible for leading a team that drives AMD’s MNC (OEM) PCs through Retailers and E-tailers in Japan.The PersonDoes this sound like you? We'd love to talk!Proven leader experienced in growing PC sales and managing teamsDemonstrated success in growing the sales of both PC system units and revenueWorking with retailers partners in the region to develop plans to collaboratively grow our joint businessExperience in successfully managing large marketing budgets and programs to improve the impact of every marketing dollarStrong communicator, comfortable presenting to different audiences across customers and business/partner executivesWilling to travel as per business needs; flexibility to travel within the territoryAdvanced presentation skillsKey ResponsibilitiesLead the Japan team into next level scale and growth through our focused partnersDrive compelling programs to drive AMD consumer PC sales.Be an active communicator of regional opportunities and needs into Business Units and HQ teams.Use market insight and intelligence to make data driven decisions.Promote a planning mindset with OEMs, retailers and internal teams to have a strategic approach to business seasonality.Build and cultivate direct relationships with key retail executives across top AMD scale partners.Promote AMD products and technologiesDeliver AMD unit and value targets on a quarterly and annual basisPartner with AMD’s top Client MNC (OEM) to develop and implement growth strategies.Acquire and analyze channel sales reporting to recognize trends and steer financial and human resources to improve growth and return on investmentProvide internal feedback to help build the accurate marketing collateral and sales tools vital to educate the channel on the benefits of partnering with and selling AMD-based products and solutionsCreate customized sales plans and exceed AMD quarterly sales goalsReport on the status of accounts and pipelineCollaborate internally & externally with marketing / social teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing effortsDevelop and monitor performance key indicators for account setManage sales pipeline management & tracking tools and report on important informationKeep record of sales trendsManage the end-to-end marketing claims process (RMI and MDF) with marketing operations teams Preferred ExperienceWe'd love to connect if this is your background!Proven PC Client experience in similar sales and business development positions for the Retail/E-tail/ OEMProven experience leading regional sales teams across a spread of different country locationsSolid understanding of the Japan PC marketStrong track record of success in scaling through multiple consumer channelsExisting relationships built with key OEM and retail executivesAn established background in technology business development/salesExtensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Academic CredentialsBachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering preferredLOCATION:Tokyo, JapanBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
