Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a qualified and experienced tax professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Group Tax. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping our tax strategy for a diverse range of businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesTax leadership for Strategy and PlanningOpportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our tax strategy for a diverse range of business e.g. Real Estate, Maritime and Investments. Tax lead to business units. Provide leadership on tax implications for business transactions, including tenders, mergers, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring activities. Tax Compliance and Reporting Manage tax compliance (including filings, tax audits and transfer pricing). Cross-functional CollaborationPartner with the business to integrate tax considerations into strategic decision-making processes. Provide tax guidance and support for new business initiatives and expansion into new markets. Collaborate with external advisors and consultants to leverage specialized expertise and optimize tax outcomes. Key RequirementsAt least 12 to 15 years of international tax and relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or reputable professional services firm. Familiarity and practical experience in key ASEAN countries’ taxation will be an advantage. Strong technical knowledge, including international tax principles and understanding of transfer pricing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts to diverse stakeholders to support decision-making at all levels.
